Kitacon 2009 Battle Report. May 25

Wake up at 7am , shower, breakfast and at 8:15 am to the bus stop behind the theatre.
While waiting the bus I saw something really dreadful x_x
You really don`t wanna know the details....

The Trip to Kemi only lasted 1,5 h and I was drawing something Kitacon related all the way and listened to Dope (Burn, Paranoia, etc).
At Kemi the weather was little "schizophrenic".
Sun was shining and there was little rain at the same time.
When we arrived at Community centre where Kitacon was held we ( I , Vili and Aleksi) started to walk around to wonder what the fuck has Nippon done to this country’s youth...

There were lots of Cosplayers...cardboard weapons, cheap looking wigs and obesity......yeeaaaahh...."Now where did I put that whiskey?"

I was only interested in buying new comics (and manga), but that plan got screwed up totally!
Fantasiapelit (Fantasy Games – the biggest manga seller in Finland) only sold some shitty über-popular mass manga (or something with pink covers. No thank you.) and no rare (or nothing western) comics and the flea market was full of stuff that didn’t interest me.

Zum Teufel`s stand had the best (and even better, WESTERN) collection BUT they didn’t have WATCHMEN!
For once when I have the money to buy that big ass bible and THEY DID`T HAVE IT!!! Fucking Hell!

At one point we decided to go eat burgers and get some free time from all that eye-rape which we had to witness.(No offence but some of you seemed really dreadful and sounded like that too.)
Big surprise...the burger restaurant was full of KAWAII fangirls and little kids (which were locked to playground).
The Waiting line was way too long and when I ordered a burger with just ketchup it was full of vegetables! I. DO NOT. EAT. RABBIT FOOD!
I was..."slightly" pissed off at this.
I couldn’t return the burger because the cashier was occupied with Fangirls and I didn’t want to use any unnecessary violence (Like in the Violence Man comic).
Oh well at least Aleksi had something to eat.

Then we went back to listen lecture of a Porn comic artist. It was pretty fun to listen occasionally xD
He told story of his "sex adventures" and stuff. Normal small talk, you know.

Well I bought all three BLACKSAD`s ( 10 € a piece!) and Wolverine - Weapon X album (it was pretty shitty but now at least have it in my shelf).

By the end of the day we just sat at the back and laughed our asses off for the cosfails. We had to do something you know? :3

Shitty trip but it was worth of it.

Next year we are gonna dress like Pyro in Team Fortress 2 and use real flamethrowers.
